Former National Lotteries Board Director Thusitha Halloluwa was yesterday (28) further remanded until 4 Sept. over an incident of assault and shooting at his vehicle.
Produced before Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva, officials said the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) had uncovered that the attack had been staged by Halloluwa himself in collusion with organised criminal groups.
The CCD also placed further facts before court regarding the incident.
After considering the submissions, the Magistrate ordered the suspect to be further remanded until 04 Sept.
