An Indian National Defence College (NDC) delegation, currently in Sri Lanka as part of their study tour, called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, at the Navy Headquarters on Monday (02).
Joint Secretary Vijay Nehra led the delegation consisting of nineteen (19) student officers from NDC Course No. 64.
Subsequently, the members of the delegation engaged in an informative discussion with Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera. Marking the importance of this occasion, mementoes were also exchanged between Vice Admiral Perera and Vijay Nehra.
The visiting delegation was also provided with a comprehensive briefing on the vital role and responsibilities performed by the Sri Lanka Navy. Director General Operations, Rear Admiral Nishantha Peiris, Naval Assistant to the Commander of the Navy, Rear Admiral Kosala Warnakulasooriya and Defence Advisor at the Indian High Commission in Colombo, Captain M. Anand. were also in attendance during this visit.
