Four State Ministers have been removed from their portfolios wth immediate effect, the PMD stated.
Accordingly, State Ministers Premalal Jayasekara (Ports & Aviation Services), Indika Anuruddha (Power & Energy), Mohan Priyadarshana de Silva (Agriculture) & Siripala Gamlath (Highways) have been officially removed from their positions with immediate effect.
The PMD stated this decision was made under the authority granted to the President by Article 47(3)(a) of the Constitution of Sri Lanka.
