Lankan filmmaker Jason Rajasinghe won an Emmy at the 66th annual Chicago/ Midwest Emmys this year, held in the US, in recognition of his achievements in regional media and broadcasting.The Chicago/Midwest Chapter is one of the largest and most prestigious local chapters in the country, chartered by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), based in New York City.
RAD Productions USA received nominations for: Outstanding Achievement in Commercial – Single Spot/Campaign for the Stoney Acres Farm Commercial, and Outstanding Achievement in Branded Content – Short Form Content for the Portage County Business Council Brand Film.
Jason won his Emmy on his third nomination for his cinematography work as part of the Discover Mediaworks team, in the category Outstanding Achievement in Nostalgia – Short and Long Form Content for Field of Dreams: AAGPBL 80th Reunion.

RAD Productions USA stated, “While it wasn’t the year for RAD USA to bring home Emmys for our two local productions, we are incredibly honored to represent Central Wisconsin and humbled to be nominated alongside the best in the Chicago/Midwest region.” RAD Productions USA is currently producing its original documentary series ORIGIN: The Road to Ancestral Roots, which explores the reconciliation of our food system and is slated for international release in 2025.
