Bribery Commission urged to inquire into assets of prison top brass and others, including docs

The Citizens Power against Corruption organisation yesterday submitted a complaint to the Anti-Corruption and Bribery Investigations Commission, requesting an investigation and legal action if prison officers and medical staff have unlawfully accumulated assets.

The complaint urges an inquiry into the assets of the Commissioner General of Prisons, Additional Commissioners General, Prison Commissioners, Additional Prison Commissioners, medical staff working in prisons, prison officers, assistant prison officers, chief jailers, and registered jailers. The organisation has called for action if any of these individuals have illicitly accumulated wealth through unlawful means while in service.
