The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has filed indictments against Ramith Rambukwella, son of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, before the Colombo High Court.
Ramith has been accused of failure to disclose the source of assets worth over Rs. 270 million. At the time, he had also served as private secretary to his father.
The case has been filed under the Anti-Corruption Act, with CIABOC alleging unlawful accumulation of wealth.
