CaFFE introduces ‘Janani’ to female councillors in the districts of Kandy and Nuwara Eliya

The Campaign for Free and Fair Elections (CaFFE) updated newly elected female councillors to local authorities in the districts of Kandy and Nuwara Eliya on how to stay safe online by introducing them to ‘Janani’ CaFFE’s flagship training programme on digital hygiene and how to get media focus.

Thirty eight female councillors elected to the 22 local bodies in the Kandy district attended the first of the three stage ‘Janani’ programme held in Gampola on Friday, while 43 of the 73 female councillors elected to the 12 local authorities in the Nuwara Eliya district attended the programme held in Hatton on Saturday.
