A woman arrested in the Udugampola area allegedly for violating traffic laws and defying police orders is scheduled to be produced before the Gampaha Magistrate today (03), police said.
The suspect, who was taken into custody by Gampaha traffic officers on 31 October, reportedly behaving aggressively at the time, claiming to be a relative of a senior DIF. However, officers ignored her claims.
The Gampaha Magistrate ordered her remanded until 03 November.
