The situation report issued at 6:00AM by the Disaster Management Center today [30th November 2025] confirms that 159 persons have lost their lives and 203 persons are missing due to the adverse weather conditions that have rattled Sri Lanka during the past few days.
The number of deaths reported in the Badulla and Kandy districts have not changed and stand at 52 in each district.
The number of persons affected has risen to 833.985.
The government has established 919 safety centers where 122,822 persons belonging to 34,198 persons have taken refuge.
