Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya has hailed Anudi Gunasekara’s participation in the Miss World 2025 pageant as a proud moment for Sri Lanka, commending the young beauty queen for putting Sri Lanka in the global spotlight.
In a message shared on her official Facebook page, the Premier praised Gunasekara’s poise and presence, noting that her representation had captivated audiences both at home and abroad.
“Anudi Gunasekara proudly represented Sri Lanka at Miss World 2025,” the Prime Minister wrote. “Her presence and poise resonated with audiences across Sri Lanka and the globe.
