A Polish delegation recently discussed logistical matters related to the forthcoming bilateral negotiations on the Agreement on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons between Sri Lanka and Poland, scheduled to take place in Colombo next month, Foreign Ministry sources said.
A Polish delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Human Rights of the Ministry of Justice, Przemysław Domagała, held talks with Ambassador Priyangika Dharmasena, at the Sri Lanka Embassy, in Warsaw, in this regard, sources said.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on strengthening legal cooperation.
During the Meeting, Ambassador Dharmasena reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s commitment to fostering closer collaboration with Poland through continued dialogue and partnership.
